Support for international students

If you’ll be travelling to Niagara from abroad, welcome!  We’re here to help you with accommodations in any way we can. Whether you’re an exchange student, an ESL student, or simply an international student completing your program here at Niagara, there are various resources to help you. If you’re looking for off-campus accommodations, our listings are a great place to start. If you’re an ESL student or are looking for short-term accommodation before classes begin, please see below for more information. Homestay Program If you’re coming to Niagara from abroad, you may apply for the Homestay Program. If accepted, you will be living with an English-speaking family giving you an opportunity to practice your English while learning about Canadian lifestyle and culture. The international housing coordinator carefully selects each family to match your needs, ensuring you will have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The monthly fee includes three meals a day, your own fully furnished private room and study area, and access to the entire house. For more information, please visit the Homestay website. Short-term accommodation If you arrive before the the Residences are open, or before the move-in date decided with your landlord, consider the NC Landing Pad, a one-month room rental for international students while you look for a place to live. This includes a room and two meals per day. For more information, please visit the Landing Pad website. Contacts Niagara College Off-Campus Living
